Modify Zoomify

There is a zoom program and I would like to put instruction on a layer on top of the zoom program for better user experience. This URL has example of zoom program without the text layer http://www.zoomify.com/express.htm This URL has example of zoom program with text layer. Documentation is required so I can change the text and placement of text layer.
